Sanela & Oliver

When I met Sanela and Oliver, I fell for their smiles straight away. We met on a cold autumn day, and within moments they had brought warmth into the room. One look at them together was enough to sense how deeply they understood each other.

At Ansitz Zinnenberg, among the vineyards and mountains of South Tyrol, I felt that same warmth on their wedding day. Autumn colours framed the outdoor ceremony, while the light filtered through the trees and followed them throughout the day.

In Lukas Hanifle’s photographs, I see their joy in the most spontaneous moments: a shared laugh during the ceremony, their hands entwined, Oliver leaning in to kiss Sanela on the forehead. And Sanela, in her embroidered dress with a bouquet of pale roses, looking beautiful and happy.

The celebration continued inside the estate, among thoughtfully laid tables, old stone and windows looking out to the landscape. It felt elegant and welcoming, just like them. More than any detail, I remember the way they looked for each other: close, present and full of joy.
